Walks starting directly from the hotel
Here we have put together a list of the most popular walks that start right from our hotel. So you can safely leave your car behind.

Another hiking gem on the Mieming Plateau is the route to the Simmering Alm. The trail leads along forest tracks into the woods, then up gently winding switchbacks through varied terrain, all the way up to the Simmering Alm. Along the way, you’ll be treated to wonderful views of the Inn Valley time and again.
The highlight at the Simmering Alm is the new viewing platform ‘Am Horn’, where you can enjoy a magnificent view across the entire Mieming Plateau and the mountains of the Stubai and Ötztal Alps. You should also be sure to visit the charming little chapel with its Sacred Heart memorial bell.

The hike to the Marienberg-Alm is always a fascinating experience. Popular with hikers, cyclists and day-trippers alike, the trail leads up to the Marienbergjoch, where you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Außerfern region. A little insider tip: be sure to try Annemarie’s excellent Graukas at the Marienberg-Alm!

Take a walk to the Lehmberghaus and enjoy the impressive views of the Mieming Plateau. The trail takes you through picturesque forests and alpine landscapes. Experienced walkers may wish to continue on to the Wankspitze, which offers spectacular panoramic views.
Hike through “flaming” larch meadows
You’ll be particularly enchanted by the walk across the unique larch meadows! The paths are ideal for leisurely strolls and families with children. As a special highlight along this route, our younger guests will find a wonderful, large adventure playground, made largely from natural wooden elements.
The route takes you eastwards into the forest. After a while, the forest thins out and you find yourself in the midst of the magnificent larch meadows. The best time to undertake this hike is in late autumn, when the larch trees are ‘ablaze’ and the deciduous trees are in a ‘blaze of colour’ – a true spectacle of nature that is not to be missed!
