Welcome Card
With the free Welcome Card, you can explore the entire Obsteig – Mieminger Plateau and Innsbruck region at your leisure, both in summer and winter. It serves as a ticket for local public transport in the city and surrounding area, and also entitles you to free or discounted travel on the mountain. In addition, you’ll receive discounted or free entry to numerous leisure activities and can take part in the guided activity programme. Discover the region without restrictions!
Welcome Card Sommer
Stay for two nights or more and receive a free Welcome Card for the summer
Valid from 1 May 2025 to 31 October 2025
- Public transport within the Innsbruck region, including city transport in Innsbruck
- Stadtrad Innsbruck – free for 24 hours
- Weekly guided walking tours
- Weekly guided e-bike tours
- Numerous discounts on swimming pools, lakes, events and more
And if you stay for three nights or more, you’ll also receive one return ticket for each of the four mountain railways.
Please note that at the start and end of the season, opening hours are limited, and some of the mountain railways are either not operating at all or only at weekends.
Welcome Card Winter
For stays of 2 nights or more, you’ll receive a free Winter Welcome Card:
Valid from November 2026 to April 2027
- Public transport within the Innsbruck region, including city transport in Innsbruck and ski buses for the entire period, as well as the Innsbruck City Bike scheme for 24 hours
- Guided winter hiking and snowshoe tours, as well as one introductory cross-country skiing tour and one introductory snowshoe tour
- Numerous discounts on cultural highlights and sporting activities such as cross-country skiing, ice skating, swimming or climbing
From 3 nights’ stay, additionally:
- One free return trip on the mountain railway in Oberperfuss for your tobogganing or winter hiking experience
- 20% discount on a ticket for the Nordkettenbahnen and Patscherkofelbahn
